Snow in Texas

So yeah, I know it has snowed in Texas before, but it was 73 degrees yesterday, and today its snowing. Crazy huh, guess thats global warming for ya. Anyway, I thought I had a job in St Louis, signed a contract and everything, then I was informed that they chose to go with someone else. I am still up for the job in Tampa, but it looks like I will be in Texas for a little while longer. Well just an update, and Merry Christmas everyone.

Visit with Kennedy and Kyler

So, I just got done having Kennedy and Kyler with me for a nice long weekend, from Friday to Tuesday. We had a lot of fun. We played a lot of games, Kennedy ended up winning most of them. But mainly it was nice to finally get to know my kids after three years of not being able to see them. Kennedy and Kyler had fun walking the dogs, playing with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Molly. They made some Christmas ornaments from pine cones so they could hang them up on their tree back at their home. All in all it was a wonderful time. I will miss them immensely until I am able to see them again. Well that's it for now, I love you all.

Out of the Air Force YAY!!!!

So I am out of the Air Force, I finished my last little bit of out processing, and once they said you are good to go I switched into some civies and got on the road. In other news, I visited Sam and Ky on my way home here are a few pictures of Ky, my favorites.
So Kyliena might kill me when she gets older for posting the one of her crying, but it was just too cute. It wasnt real crying, it was fake, give me what I want crying. Really cute.
Hopefully I will see Kennedy and Kyler in the next week or so. I am looking forward to that as well.
Otherwise I am looking for a job and enjoying being free again. That is all for now, I love you all.
I forgot to mention that I made it safely to my parents house as well.

Well Here are the kids in their costumes, as you can tell Kennedy is Ariel, Kyler is Spiderman, and Kyliena is a pirate, and Sam, standing behind Kyliena is in polka dot slippers, not really sure what her costume is supposed to be. I love you all.

Once again I know its been a while...

Not much has been happening in my life lately, just getting closer and closer to the end of my enlistment. House sold without too many issues, felt bad because my mortgage company decided to charge more than I thought I owed, according to the monthly statements, so I had to raise the price selling it to my friends. I didn't make any profit off it like I wanted to, but at least I am out from under the mortgage, and I know to never do business with any branch of Citi ever again.
Like I said my time with the Air Force is shortly coming to an end, and I am so happy. I could start my Terminal Leave on the 5th of Nov, but the only guy in my squadron who can approve the leave is on leave himself till this upcoming Monday. So I have to sit back and wait for him to get back before I can do anything.
I still get to talk to Kennedy and Kyler every now and again, and I have started seeing Kyliena on the webcam. She is becoming cuter every day, and her hair is getting longer finally. Ill try to get a picture of her, a new one up soon. I love you all.

Havent written in a while.

I just wanted to let Kennedy, Kyler and Kyliena know that I love them. Work is going alright, I get to call Kennedy and Kyler every night, and most nights Brittany answers the phone. When she doesnt I just leave a message for Kennedy and Kyler.
The sale of my house will be final at the end of this month. So I will be putting stuff in storage and finding a room to rent until I am done. The job hunt isnt looking very well. I have had a few hits on my resume, but they havent worked out. We will see what happens.

Not much time for me too write too much, I just wanted to post this.

I talked to Kennedy and Kyler.

So for the first time in almost two years, I was able to talk to Kennedy and Kyler. I was so happy to hear their voices. Kyler pretty much just said hi to me, and then proceeded to play with the phone I guess. But Kennedy told me that she loves and misses me and wants me to come see her. She also said that she has gotten really good at hula hooping. Brittany and I were able to come to an understanding where I would be able to talk to them every night before they went to bed, mainly because the time I get out of work is the time they go to bed. But that is fine for me, going to bed knowing that their father loves them is about all I could ask for right now. There is still a lot more that needs to be worked out but I am happy with this small bit right now.
Also I have found a buyer for my house, they are from the ward, and they wanted to stay in the ward but there werent any houses in the ward boundaries that were available. But they heard from the bishop that I would be leaving soon and they in turn talked to me, they love the house, right neighborhood, right price so they are getting everything set up for a quick, painless sale.

The next one is a visitor I had one day. I was sitting around watching a movie on Hulu.com, yes a shameless plug but I love that website. Well anyway, I heard a loud thunk at the door, and it scared me pretty bad. I went and looked out the peephole and didnt see anyone, then it hit me that a bird probably hit the door, so I opened the door and looked down and there he was.

I was actually able to open up my storm door and get a picture right next to him. But neither of those came out well. But Mr. Bird sat there on my doormat for about 1 hour and then took off, but not before leaving me a little present. I guess it was a "Thanks for your hospitality, jerk" kind of poo. Well that has been my funny news, hope you enjoyed. I love you all.

Sorry its been a while.

I have been quite busy, I am nearing the end of my time here. I have had a few job offers, not quite sure which one I will take, but some look more promising than others. I have some pictures that I will post, along with a story about one of them. I just wanted to let my kids know that I havent stopped thinking about them. I just have been distracted and havent gotten to updating this blog in a while. I love you, Kennedy, Kyler and Kyliena, hope to see you all soon.

Next Court Date

The 25th of this month will be the next time we will go before the court. The first time was just a postponement so that we could see if we could get some things set up, and to allow more time to pass so that I am closer to getting out of the military. Nothing has come so far, I still dont have a number or address where I can get ahold of Kennedy or Kyler. I am asking my lawyer if me showing up for the hearing will help at all, and if it does, then I will head out to California so I can be there, and to help shine some light on the situation.
I love Kennedy and Kyler, and will do anything to be in their lives. I am sad that it has come to this, that I have not been able to even talk to them for over a year now. I am sorry that everyone else in my family has been denied contact with them too. Kennedy and Kyler deserve to know their whole family, the Fox side of the family. As of right now, as far as I know, the last contact they had with anyone on my side of the family was Chase and Jenn, and Ceri over Christmas, and only Chase and Jenn since last Easter. Kennedy and Kyler, I am trying to see you, I love you two so much, and miss you.
Sam and Kyliena are still in England, they went on "holiday" for the last week, meaning they went on a vacation on their vacation. From what Sam had told me it sounds like they had fun. I cant wait till they get home as well. Well thats it for now, I will keep everyone updated.

How the court case is coming.

Well, let's see... Not much new, there are a lot of lies floating out there, and once they are shown to be false, then we will finally be able to progress in this. I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. I will hopefully at least be able to see Kennedy and Kyler soon, well the soonest would be in November, when I am tentatively getting out of the military. Brittany is against letting me see them through web cam meetings. I dont think that will hurt anything, and it will help me get to know them better.
I am at least getting out of the military, I know that much at least. Because every year they make you take a promotion test, and I denied it this year. If you deny it, then you can not reenlist. I wouldn't see any benefit from taking it anyway, I just wanted my higher ups to know that I am serious about getting out of the military.
I think i will be staying on the day shift this next go around, hopefully my days off will shift a little so I can go to church. Well I love Kennedy, Kyler and Kyliena. Oh yeah, Sam and Kyliena are in England right now visiting relatives. So we dont get to talk as much as we usually do. I really miss them a lot. Kyliena is growing up so much. Walking all over the place, getting into everything, I cant wait until we are all together.

So tired...

Well I had the mediation call, and it went how I pretty much expected it to go. So it is on to court, where the actual truth will be shown.
Getting up at 0445 every morning is starting to take its toll on me. Its not that I'm not getting enough sleep, just that its so early.
Countdown to getting out of the Air Force is looking pretty good. Almost 6 months exactly, I really cant wait, plus I cant wait to see if I can get my job afterward. The same job, I just get to grow facial hair, and wear civilian clothes, all you civilians don't understand how nice that is, maybe dad does, but his uniform doesn't look that uncomfortable. I'm talking the one he would always leave for work in, not the one he wears when he is on a call.
Sam and Ky are really looking forward to their trip to the UK coming up shortly. I will be sad that they are gone, we will be talking less cause it would cost a fortune to talk as much as we do now.
Other than that, things are going fine. Just wanted to let Kennedy and Kyler know that I am thinking about them and that I love them.

My Birthday

Well, I am 28 today. This really has been one of my best birthdays yet. It was my monday for my shift, so that was a little disappointing, but a friend at work made me a from-scratch, chocolate cake with chocolate raspberry frosting. I got a present from another friend, 2 books. I was really excited about those, got the newest Raymond Feist book. He is my favorite author.
I feel real blessed, I am happy that everyone is talking to me and things are going good in my life. Hopefully soon the court case will be resolved and I will see Kennedy and Kyler again. The case will be going to court in May, so please pray that whatever happens, it will be the best for Kennedy and Kyler. Well I love you all, Ill write more later.

Switching to day shift

Well, I am done working at nights. I will now start working from 0630-1430. I have Wed-Thurs off. Not really a big deal to me, but still I would have liked to have at least Sunday off. Oh well, what am I going to do. I did get placed in training for a job I would rather do. And it might help me get a job afterward.
Hopefully soon, things in my life will be a lot better, hopefully I will be able to talk to and see Kennedy and Kyler. I miss them every single day. Kyliena is starting to walk. I'm sad that I missed her first steps, but she is growing, and in the high 90 percentile for height. Things seem to be going well for me. Now if only I could transfer that into a winning lottery ticket and rid myself of money issues. Oh well, cant wish for too much. I love you all and hope you are doing well.

Happy Birthday Kennedy

Well it is Kennedy's birthday. I got together with my parents and was able to get her a dress-up dress. Here is a picture of it.Brittany has moved again, without telling anyone her address. But luckily the post office was able to forward it from her old address, and Kennedy should have gotten it, and know that I am thinking of her. The cow in the picture is the card I sent. Once again, Happy Birthday Kennedy, I love and miss you.

My battle with the post lady

I put Kennedy's birthday card in the mail yesterday morning. I have a roll of forever stamps that i bought a few years back. If you recall forever stamps can be used no matter when, hence the name; Forever Stamps.

Well I got my mail when I was leaving for work at night and this is what was in my mailbox, along with the card:

If you cant read that it says something like: This stamp is from 2007 which if I remember correct is 39c postage (something) 42c. This card will come back due to not enough postage. Thanks, Donna.
She also made a mark on the stamp, which I will show here:
So she drew a little circle around the stamp, I dont understand why she did that but, eh, what are you going to do. So in order to let her know that they are forever stamps I wrote her a note that I put inside the mailbox with the card, no change to the stamp:
You should be able to read what I wrote, but if you cant summary is, forever stamps last forever no matter the price, and if it wont be able to be sent because it was drawn on, just come knock on my door till I wake up and I will put another stamp on there.
Other than that, I am starting a course at my job that will help me find a job after I get out, I was lucky to get it. So that is something that looks good in my life for right now. Cant say much else about it. Well I love and miss you all.

I was watching a tv show and on it it talked about the counterterrorism calender, and the only day that there hasnt been a terror attack was March 18th. I thought this was very neat. Since, you know its Kennedy's birthday. Just thought I would put that out there. The link to it is.

Happy Birthday Kyliena

Well it is Ky's birthday today. She is 1 year old today. I wish I could be there, but she is still in Texas with her mom.
Just in case you are wondering, this will be the premise of my book, and if it ever gets published i expect the summary of it to be:
Daniel Cooper is just a plain first term military guy. He has dreamed of always being the main character in the adventures he has read. Being far from home and away from his family he decides that he needs a pet, something to keep him company. While out shopping around for a pet he comes across a Ferret who seems to be drawn to him. He takes the ferret home and comes to find out that his dreams will never be the same.
Thats about it, I would go in more, but I guess you will have to wait until I am finished and get it published *fingers crossed*.

It Snowed in South Carolina.

And it stuck for about 1 hour, then it all melted away, I am still a kid at heart and would have loved to play in it. I saw some pictures of Kennedy and Kyler playing in the snow. I wish I could have been there to play with them. I get pictures of Kyliena all the time, she is growing fast. Sam tells me that she pulls herself up now and is getting into everything.
Well, it is time for me to go to bed, just wanted to write some of my thoughts down. Oh, one more thing, I started writing a book. Just something to pass the time. I am having a friend from work read it every once and a while and having him help me get through the rough parts where my mind seems to freeze up. I know nothing will probably come from it, but its something that I wanted to do for a while, so I decided I have tons of time on my hands so I will write a book. I love you all.

I would like to remind anyone who reads this. That my sole purpose for making this blog is so that my children will know that I love them and that I am always thinking of them. Please don't write anything negative here.
With that out of the way, work is going alright. I just switched to the 1030 at night to 0630 in the morning schedule. Its hard to stay awake the first couple nights on that shift. I had to go out and do some quick exercises every hour or so in order to make it through. Well thats about all that has gone on. I love you all.
