Happy New Year

Well, its 2009, at least here on the east coast. Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Wishing I could be closer to my family, but this will be the last New Year that I have to spend alone, and in the Air Force. Love you all.

A Christmas Present for everyone.

Merry Christmas to everyone. This beautiful little girl that I am holding, is my daughter. Her name is Kyliena Jill Fox. She was born on Feb 5th. Her mother and I are most likely going to get married, hopefully (its up to her right now). But I figured the best gift that I could give my family was to introduce them to my beautiful daughter. As of now, she lives with in Texas with her mother, Samantha. Kennedy and Kyler, yes I know have 2 kids who can be called Ky (I had no say in either names), this is your little sister. I love you all. Once again I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas.

Christmas Memory

Just wanted to tell a short story about a memory I have about Kennedy and Christmas. We got to Aiken, SC in the beginning of November. So we had our first Christmas away from all family here, together as a small family here. One day we were going out for a drive, I think it was to look at Christmas lights, and we got Kennedy into her car seat and I was being silly and saying Merry Christmas a lot. I guess I annoyed Kennedy because every time I would say it, she would roll her eyes and say "Oh Grant". It was so cute, I'm sure she learned that from her mom, since I was always being silly.

Well, it is getting close to being Christmas. I just want to wish a Merry Christmas to Kennedy and Kyler, and everyone else.
Somehow I got lucky and my regular break days are both on Christmas and New Years. All I will be doing is sitting at home though, ha ha. I offered to switch with someone who has a family they would rather be at home with, so far no one has taken me up on my offer. Most people in this job field work the holidays around their schedules. But yesterday marked the beginning of my last year in the Air Force. I'm so excited to finally be getting out, and being able to get closer to Kennedy and Kyler, and family.
Other than that, not much has happened since the last post. Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday time, Merry Christmas everyone.

Well it is Thanksgiving. I haven't been doing much. I am being trained again on how to do my job after being gone for so long. Just want to wish Kennedy and Kyler a happy Thanksgiving, along with everyone else, hopefully your dinner is better than the bowl of soup I just had, haha.
Other than that, life is going well. Every day I clean the house a little bit more. All the leaves are falling off the trees, and I never really had to rake leaves before, but it needs to be done. I remember growing up if there were leaves on the lawn, there weren't many so we would just mow them up. I remember the first Thanksgiving we had here in this house. Was the first one that your mom actually cooked herself. It was pretty good, and we sat at the table, Kennedy was in her booster seat. She really loved mashed potatoes, I wonder if she still does. Well Kennedy and Kyler, I love you both and I hope you have a fun time for these holidays.

So, this is me, driving home. I took this picture somewhere along New Mexico, near Elephant Butte. Yes I know it isn't said like Butt, but still, I wanted to mention it.
I had a good trip. Like I said before I went to see Kennedy and Kyler. Brittany wouldn't let me. Good thing I stopped by the police on the way there to state my intentions, because she had already phoned them letting them know I was coming. I brought along some of her things, which she asked me to get to her. The police officer was really nice to me, even gave me a case number for the report he filed on the incident. In it is the truth of what happened. Now, Kennedy and Kyler, I love you both very much, I would never do anything to hurt you. So when I heard that your mom insisted that Officer Barber, the officer who handled the case, check the boxes I left for her for something dangerous, I was hurt. I would never do anything dangerous to anything that would get near you. I would never do anything like that to harm anyone. I really thought your mom would know that too. I am sorry also, to Kennedy and Kyler, normally I would be trying to call, even if I never do get through to you, but I no longer have a number for you. Your mom has changed her number and has blocked it from my phone the one time she did call me. But I will get to you in other ways. Sending letters, emails and this is one way of me letting you know that I love you.
I am really happy, and grateful that my family is talking to me again. It makes life so much easier that you have a support system. So back to my trip.
I had Ceri clean my teeth. I think I hold the record for most visits, well most visits now that she knows what she is doing. And then after cleaning my teeth, she gave me a big bag of Airheads for the return trip home, are you securing future business for yourself Ceri? But really, thank you for the candy and the granola bars, I got home late Saturday evening, Sunday morning, and I had no food in the house, those granola bars kept me alive waiting for Monday and hence Grocery shopping.
I visited with Grandma Fox, we stayed up till 11:30 talking about things we missed since I have moved to South Carolina. The next day we went to a luncheon where I got to meet Grandma's friends. It was a great visit, and the food at the luncheon was great, chicken tortilla soup was the best.
For the most part I stayed at home, getting random things I would need, I was also able to check up on the Border Patrol, which I am planning on doing when I get out of the military. If you wouldn't mind I am going to be taking a test on the 21st of this month and I could use your prayers in doing well on it. Mom and Dad were the great, Mom even got me the most wonderful shirt in the world while I was there. Thank you Mom, I love it. I went running with Molly almost every day, she hated it, the running, I think she enjoyed my company, until I told her to get ready for the sprint we did at the end of each session. Brig and I went to church at the singles ward where I felt like a fish out of water, too old. Brig and I also were able to talk a lot, and he whoop'd on me at Wii Boxing.
On my way home I stopped by Mesa, and visited Grandma and Granddad Black. We talked, ate Panda Express, and watched the Phillie fans celebrate winning the World Series. They gave me some directions on how to get to back to the 10 and I was on my way back to South Carolina. Along the way my speedometer decided that it wanted to freak out. I swear I was not doing these speeds it says I was. It made it an interesting drive home. I would every once and a while time a mile and calculate my MPH to make sure I was going the speed limit. Which I got very good at near the end, calculating it, and keeping within the speed limit.
I swear, I couldn't even do this speed if I wanted to, but wait, this next one is better.
How is that even possible. Well I made it home safely. Thanks to all who helped me. I am grateful to know that I am still loved. For a while there I wasn't sure about it. I love you all. I love you Kennedy and Kyler, I am your father and I will always be there for you.

Got home safely.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am home safely. I will write a longer post later, when I can put pictures in it. But right now my camera is dead, and I cant find my charger, I promise my house isn't messy...

Hello Everyone.

Well lets see, I am in the United States Air Force, only for 1 more year. My next goal in life is to join the Border Patrol, not only so I can get closer to my family, but because it is something I believe in. Right now I am living in South Carolina, stationed at Ft. Gordon in Augusta, GA. My job is super secret... so dont ask me.
I just got home from my deployment in Iraq. It was a load of fun, I got to stand around in 130 degree weather and watch other people work. So yeah, loads of fun.
I have a daughter, Kennedy, and a son, Kyler. I love them so much, but I miss them because I havent been able to see them in almost 3 years.
I took a trip after getting home to see them, but their mom decided that I shouldn't be allowed to see them for some reason so I ended up going straight to my parents to visit with them and my the rest of my family. The trip all in all was great.
Now I am on my way home, to go back to work and count down the days until I am out of the Air Force. I have a test with the Border Patrol to see if I am good enough to join, I think I am, on the 21st of Nov. After that I have an interview, I am hoping to make it in, because it would make my life so much easier, put me so much closer to Kennedy and Kyler.
Well thats it for now. I love you Kennedy and Kyler, I miss you every day. Happy Birthday Kyler, I hope you got the card I sent you. And thank you everyone else for reading.
