So in December my case for more visitation and custody for Kennedy and Kyler came to a close with me getting joint legal custody and the kids for half of ever school break they have. So far I have had them twice and will have them again the end of this month. Every visit has been nice, I wish I could take time off from work to be with them while they are here. But I cant do that since I am not allowed any time off during rotations. Training the soldiers prior to their deployments is a constant thing and is a 24/7 job, which is very important. Having been deployed and having not received the training I was due before my deployment I want everyone else to be prepared as I wasnt.
The only problem I have right now is child support, I am shelling out more than half of what I take home in child support, to Kennedy and Kyler alone. That isnt including Kyliena's child support. This seemed totally fair to the judge in the hearing, which amazes me. I dont see how the state of California can think that a person can live on so little money. And if it werent for my parents, who I am extremely grateful for, I wouldnt be able to live. They let me stay with them, they give me a place to live and food to eat.
In all, I am blessed to be included in my children's lives, and with a wonderful family and support system.
On being married and unemployed.

I'm so glad you got custody and you get to see your kids! Here's hoping that things will keep getting better. :)
